Here & There
This begins a journey, albeit a little late, of blogging for me. The reason behind is to start publishing plethora of random ideas that I just throw around 'here & there' from time to time. Although understandably, blogging has kind of lost its value, or should I say 'written word' has kinda of lost its value over time, but I assumed that I could still be able to use it to simply share what I have to say, which I actually have a lot!!
There won't be a particular theme to these blogs; it could be about anything. Sometimes even about nothing (just as this one). So hang on to your breeches and hence begins the interesting (or boring, depending on the perspective) saga of Gate's blogs.
I will clearly be writing a lot about Pakistan. A country I hail from, despite that I cannot claim to be clear expert on it, since I have hardly lived here, yet I think that whatever time I have spent here, has enabled me to give a 'cemented' opinion of many things. Pakistan has a way of making you experience a life of time of chaos in a matter of months. So yeah, a lot is going to be about that.
Yet it is going to be about a lot of other things. Since I intend to write a book someday, book about, well about life, condensed into a small special package, I think this blogging may even help me hone my writing skills, which I most definitely need to.
One thing about me is that I love to use twitter and tweet a lot. But they are mostly about ideas, small ones, therefore I think I am gonna use this to try and expand on those. I have no clue if it is going to get any traction, given that I am starting this based on a twitter question which hardly handful of my 650 something twitter followers responded to. But I guess all I needed was this small push to do something that I had been wanting to for a long time.
So this first blog is just 'here & there'
I am gonna publish this one just to get a feel of it. it is only after there is some serious content on it, when I am going to put this blog on my twitter bio. For now, I am going to keep it personal (at least from twitter)
Wishing me luck and hoping that I am able to make it a productive journey for myself and for anyone who wishes to read this...
adios!
Gates
